Small But Mighty

Welcome to Ridge Runner’s 12km course, proof that shorter doesn’t mean easier! With over 500m of elevation, this course packs a serious punch. It’s every bit as fierce as its big brother, offering climbs, views, and challenge worthy of the Ridge Runner name.

You’ll kick off with a flat-ish run out before hitting your first solid climb - the kind that makes you earn those epic Coromandel views. Somewhere between the sweat and the scenery, you’ll join the 24km crew for the famous “Cookie Run”, a mid-run treat courtesy of the White Star Station team. Yes, real homemade cookies and yes, you’ll have earned them.

Take a moment at the top to soak in the incredible view of the valley below, then it’s time to stretch your legs and cruise your way home alongside your 24km mates.

And once you’ve crossed that finish line? The fun’s just getting started. Refuel with a gourmet burger, gather around the bonfire, and dance the night away to Scott Stone live at the Ridge Runner afterparty.

The 12km might be shorter, but it delivers everything Ridge Runner is known for, a challenge and pure Coromandel adventure.
