Ridge Runner Recon Mission – White Star Station

The team have just been back on a mission to White Star Station to check out the trails for Ridge Runner 2025 and wow, what a day out!

Nick and Sandra have climbed, traversed, and descended the epic central Tokatea Range, soaking in every twist, turn, and ridge. It’s safe to say the magic is still very much alive out there. The rugged beauty of this place never fails to impress, and once again we were reminded why it’s the perfect home for Ridge Runner.

The climbs? Tough, yes. The descents? Challenging, absolutely. But the views are worth every single step. From sweeping ridgelines to hidden pockets of native bush, it’s the kind of terrain that tests your grit while rewarding you with scenery that takes your breath away.
